Write-In Candidate Nomination Period Closes on May 19, for the June 2, 2026, Statewide Primary Election in Monterey County

 

Salinas, CA – The nomination period to qualify as a write-in candidate for the Statewide Primary Election, closes Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Candidate forms must be completed and submitted by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

 

Official nomination documents will be available 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays during the filling period at the Monterey County Elections Department, 1441 Schilling Place – North Building, Salinas, CA.
