Willie Nelson & Family to Perform at the 2026 CA Mid-State Fair on July 22!

 

PASO ROBLES, CA – The California Mid-State Fair is excited to announce that Willie Nelson & Family will perform at the Chumash Grandstand Arena on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 as part of the Michelob Ultra Concert Series.




Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday, May 22 at 10:00 AM at MidStateFair.com.




Ticket prices are $50, $60, $80 and $100. Fair admission is not included in the price of concert tickets.





With a seven-decade career, Willie Nelson has earned every conceivable award as a musician while also becoming an acclaimed author, actor, and activist. He remains one of the most influential and enduring voices in American music, continuing to release new albums, tour extensively, and connect with generations of fans through his unmistakable sound and storytelling.




Throughout his legendary career, Nelson has released dozens of celebrated albums and helped shape the outlaw country movement. In recent years, he has remained remarkably prolific, releasing multiple new studio albums including First Rose of Spring, That’s Life, The Willie Nelson Family, and A Beautiful Time, which earned the GRAMMY Award for Best Country Album. He has also continued his annual Outlaw Music Festival Tour and remains a driving force behind Farm Aid, the organization he co-founded in 1985 to support American family farmers.




Nelson’s accomplishments extend far beyond music. He has authored several bestselling books, including Willie Nelson’s Letters to America and Me and Paul: Untold Tale of a Fabled Friendship. In 2023, he celebrated his 90th birthday with a two-night all-star concert event at the Hollywood Bowl, later released as Long Story Short: Willie Nelson 90. The same year, he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, further cementing his status as one of America’s most iconic performers.




In 2024, Nelson continued his extraordinary creative output with the release of the studio albums The Border and Last Leaf on the Tree, along with Willie and Annie Nelson’s Cannabis Cookbook, co-authored with his wife Annie. Whether performing on stage, recording new music, or advocating for causes close to his heart, Willie Nelson continues to thrive as a relevant and progressive cultural force.




The CA Mid-State Fair takes place July 15–26, 2026 and this year's theme is Back to the '80s.

King City City Council Announces Selection of José Arreola as New City Manager

  January 7, 2025-Following an extensive recruitment process, José Arreola has been selected by the King City City Council to be its next City Manager. Arreola will replace Steve Adams, who is retiring after serving in the position for the past 10 years. Arreola was selected from 31 applicants and 8 finalists for the position. The King City City Council will formally consider the proposed city manager contract at its meeting on Tuesday night, January 13. Arreola's first day on the job is scheduled to be February 23.    José Arreola has a distinguished career of serving the community with a particular commitment to youth. King City CHP is searching for person of interest who fled the scene of a fatal crash in Greenfield

On Monday, September 16 at approximately 3:50 pm, a fatal traffic collision occurred on Metz Road south of Elm Avenue in Greenfield.  The driver who caused the collision fled on foot and is currently outstanding.  The California Highway Patrol King City Area is currently seeking the whereabouts of 31-year-old Agustin Santana-Moncada of King City who has been identified as a person of interest in the case.  The King City Area is requesting assistance from the public in locating Santana-Moncada.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the King City Area office at (831) 385-3216.
