Road and Lane Closures on Highway 101 in South Monterey County Along with Harkins Road and Hunter Lane from Salinas to Spreckels for the Week of February 25
MONTEREY COUNTY – Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday, February 25 through Saturday, March 2.
Highway 101: Broome Road – Main St./Chualar Street: February 28 – March 1
There will be closure of the right lane and shoulder along northbound Highway 101 between Broome Road and Main Street/Chualar Street for drainage work from 9 am to 3:30 pm.
Highway 101: Moranda Road NB On-Ramp – Camphora Gloria Road: Feb. 26 – March 1
The right shoulder of northbound Highway 101 will be closed from the northbound on-ramp at Moranda Road to Camphora Gloria Road for utility work from 8 am to 4 pm.
Salinas: Spreckels: Harkins Road & Hunter Lane: Long - Term
There will be temporary lane closures and one lane reversible traffic controls along Harkins Road and Hunter lane for pavement work beginning Monday, October 16, 2023. The work hours are 7:00 am to 5:00 p.m., with occasional nighttime work. The Harkins Road work will be located from the City of Salinas limits to Fifth Street in Spreckels. The Hunter Lane work will be taking place from State Route 68 to Harkins Road.
