UPDATE: 18-year-old Man Suspected of Killing 1 Person in a Stabbing Incident in Greenfield on December 18 Turns Himself into the Greenfield PD
According to the Greenfield Police Department a stabbing incident occurred on the 200 block of Chardonnay Drive, which tragically resulted in a homicide on Monday night, December 18. The Monterey County Sheriff’s Department Corners Unit will be responsible for the release of the victim’s identity in due time. Greenfield Police detectives were dispatched and is currently conducting an investigation into this incident. 18-year-old Julian Nunez-Gomez has been identified as a suspect in this case. On Tuesday afternoon, December 19 Julian Nunez-Gomez turned himself into the Greenfield Police Department and was booked into the Monterey County Jail for 187(a) PC - Homicide. There was also an active warrant issued for the arrest of Nunez-Gomez before he turned himself in.
