Police are Looking for 18-year-old Man Suspected of killing 1 person in a Stabbing Incident in Greenfield on December 18.
According to the Greenfield Police Department a stabbing occurred on the 200 block of Chardonnay Drive which tragically resulted in a homicide on Monday night, December 18. The Monterey County Sheriff’s Department Corners Unit will be responsible for the release of the victim’s identity in due time. Greenfield Police detectives were dispatched and are currently conducting an investigation into this incident. 18-year-old Julian Nunez-Gomez has been identified as a suspect in this case. There is an active warrant issued for his arrest. Nunez-Gomez, whose photo is posted on the Greenfield PD's Facebook page and on KRKCCountry.com is known to frequent the areas of Salinas, Soledad, Greenfield, and Coalinga. Nunez-Gomez is a Hispanic male, 5’09”, 130 lbs., goatee, black bushy hair and brown eyes. All people in the community are asked to exercise caution. If you encounter Nunez-Gomez, please do not engage and immediately call 911.
