17-year-old Juvenile Taken Into Custody in Greenfield in Connection with Stabbing Incident that Killed 1 Person on December 18
On Wednesday morning, December 20 the Greenfield Police Department, with assistance from the Monterey County Sheriff's Office, served a residential search warrant on the 200 block of Apple Avenue, in connection with a stabbing homicide that took place on the 200 block of Chardonnay Drive during the overnight hours of Tuesday, December 19. As a result, a 17-year-old juvenile was arrested and is facing charges of assault, conspiracy, and accessory to murder. The Juvenile was transported to Monterey County Juvenile Hall. This is the 2nd person person arrested pertaining to this incident. 18-year-old Julian Nunez-Gomez turned himself into Greenfield Police on December 19 and has been charged with murder. The Greenfield PD that the stabbing apprears to be gang related and confirms that at this time there are no other outstanding individuals related to this investigation.
