MONTEREY COUNTY – In observance of the upcoming Salinas Valley Fair, all construction related ramp and lane closures will be put on hold on the US 101 near King City, beginning on Wednesday May 17 at 4 pm, and through the Fair weekend.
Two lanes of travel will be open in the north and southbound direction of US 101 as well on the bridges which cross the Salinas River in King City.

The contractor for this $78 million construction project is OHL, USA of Irvine, CA. A completion date for this project will be announced prior to the Memorial Day holiday.
