King City PD is Investigating Drive-By Shooting Incident that Injured 1 Juvenile on April 15

 

On Saturday night, April 15, 2023, at approximately 8:43 PM, officers from the King City Police Department were dispatched to the 600 Block of Bishop Street to a report of a shooting. A preliminary investigation revealed that there was a celebration in a carport area of a residence with over 100 people in attendance. A vehicle passed by that residence and words were exchanged between one of the people attending the celebration and passengers in the vehicle. The vehicle continued down the street before turning around and coming back. As it passed the residence a second time, an occupant inside the vehicle fired several shots in the direction of the celebration. In the process, a juvenile sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the lower leg. The juvenile was transported to a hospital for treatment. Detectives were called to the scene to investigate. At this time, the investigation is on-going and no further details are being released. 3 Vehicle Accident on Highway 101 in Soledad on December 7

  A 3 vehicle crash ocurred on Highway 101 Southbound near the Front Street exit in Soledad at 4:01 pm on Thursday afternoon, December 7. Minor injuries were reported as a result of the collision. 

1 Vehicle Rollover Outside of King City on October 20

  1 vehicle overturned off of County Road 18 and Frudden Road outside of King City at 2:34 pm on Friday afternoon, October 20. 1 occupant received injuries as a result of the crash and ended up being transported to Natividad Medical Center in Salinas to be treated. The cause of the wreck is unknown.
