The US Geological Survey reports that a 5.1 magnitude earthquake shook things up in San Jose at 11:42 am on Tuesday, October 25. The quake rattled the Central Coast and other areas of Monterey County for several seconds. The Monterey County Board of Supervisors commented during their regular meeting in Salinas that they were able to feel the earthquake. No injuries or damages have been reported. However, County Administrative Officer for Monterey County Charles McKee did state during the Supervisors meeting though that if there were damages or injuries from this earthquake to please let him know.
