Black Velveteen Cat “Purrfect” for the Season at the Paso Robles City Library; Library Offers Halloween-Themed Crafting Project for Intermediate Sewers

 

PASO ROBLES, CA – August 10, 2022 - Intermediate sewing enthusiasts will enjoy

October’s black cat craft. While designed as a hand sewing project, it can be completed by

machine. Arms and legs will be jointed using heavy duty thread and a doll needle. The cat

will be made from black velveteen, and her dress will have an adorable candy corn print.

To participate in the class,

• Register before Thursday, September 22.

• Pick up craft materials at the in-person pickup party on Thursday, September 29,

6:00-7:00 pm in the Library Conference Room.

• Return Thursday, October 27, 6:00-7:00 pm to share your black cat project and

pick up materials for the November craft. (Must be registered for next month’s class

to pick up new materials.)

Light refreshments will be provided.

Space is limited. Registration with Paso Robles City Library card is required for each

3 Vehicle Accident on Highway 101 in Soledad on December 7

  A 3 vehicle crash ocurred on Highway 101 Southbound near the Front Street exit in Soledad at 4:01 pm on Thursday afternoon, December 7. Minor injuries were reported as a result of the collision. 

1 Vehicle Rollover Outside of King City on October 20

  1 vehicle overturned off of County Road 18 and Frudden Road outside of King City at 2:34 pm on Friday afternoon, October 20. 1 occupant received injuries as a result of the crash and ended up being transported to Natividad Medical Center in Salinas to be treated. The cause of the wreck is unknown.
