A structure fire at a house that was under construction sparked off of Elm Avenue in Greenfield at 9:42 pm on Tuesday night, September 28. According to Greenfield Fire Chief Jim Langborg, the fire caused over $20,000 in damages to the residence. It took firefighters about 45 minutes to fully put out the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation and no one was injured. If anyone witnessed how the fire started they're asked to contact the Greenfield Police Department at (831) 674-5111.
