Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in Monterey County now at 43,709 with 43,657 people released from isolation
Updated numbers from the Monterey County Health Department on Wenesday, May 26 report that confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the County are now at 43,709 people, while 43,657 people have been released from isolation and 247,951 people have been tested in the County. 12,860 of the cases are out of South Monterey County which include 2,179 in King City, 2,748 in Greenfield, 6,117 in Soledad, 1,372 in Gonzales, 106 in San Ardo, 200 in Chualar, 68 in San Lucas, while 20 cases are from other cities or towns in South Monterey County. There have also been 28 cases reported in Bradley and 22 in San Miguel. In addition, 11,436 are from person to person transmissions, 4,805 have come from community transmissions, 7 are currently hospitalized, 385 people have died, 23,386 are under investigation and 3,671 people who work in Agriculture have come down with COVID-19.
