Temporary housing for fire evacuees is available by referral at Asilomar Hotel and Conference Grounds
Hotel rooms are still available to fire evacuees who need temporary housing while displaced under Monterey County evacuation orders. These rooms are located at the Asilomar Hotel and Conference Grounds.
You must check in at the Monterey Conference Center or the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds in King City to be directed to these accommodations. Only these locations can provide a referral for this temporary housing. These rooms are at no charge to evacuees and meals are provided.
It is safe to check in at any of the county evacuation sites. COVID-19 procedures are being followed. Temperatures checks taken, please wear your face coverings and stay 6 feet from others.
Donations and volunteering information is available at www.co.monterey.ca.us/2020Fires. Asilomar, or any evacuation shelter or center, is not equipped to accept donations.
