Updated numbers from the Monterey County Health Department on Monday, June 29 report that confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the County are now at 1,605 people. Four-hundred-twenty-one of the cases are out of South Monterey County which include 140 in King City, 130 in Greenfield, 40 in Gonzales and 98 in Soledad, while 13 cases are from other cities or towns in South Monterey County. In addition, 541 are from person to person transmissions, 436 have come from community transmissions, 122 people have been hospitalized, 14 people have died, 930 people have recovered, 342 are under investigation and 569 people who work in Agriculture have come down with COVID-19.
