Updated numbers from the Monterey County Health Department on Monday, June 22 report that confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the County are now at 1,291 people. Three-hundred-forty of the cases are out of South Monterey County which include 114 in King City, 100 in Greenfield, 33 in Gonzales and 80 in Soledad, while 13 cases are from other cities or towns in South Monterey County. In addition, 454 are from person to person transmissions, 353 have come from community transmissions, 106 people have been hospitalized, 12 people have died, 745 people have recovered, 261 are under investigation and 475 people who work in Agriculture have come down with COVID-19.
