Updated numbers from the Monterey County Health Department on Monday, June 29 report that confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the County are now at 1,642 people. Four-hundred-thirty-three of the cases are out of South Monterey County which include 146 in King City, 134 in Greenfield, 40 in Gonzales and 100 in Soledad, while 13 cases are from other cities or towns in South Monterey County. In addition, 573 are from person to person transmissions, 459 have come from community transmissions, 130 people have been hospitalized, 15 people have died, 999 people have recovered, 320 are under investigation and 589 people who work in Agriculture have come down with COVID-19.
