Updated numbers from the Monterey County Health Department on Friday, June 19 report that confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the County are now at 1,156 people. Three-hundred-eighteen of the cases are out of South Monterey County which include 109 in King City, 93 in Greenfield, 32 in Gonzales and 72 in Soledad, while 12 cases are from other cities or towns in South Monterey County. In addition, 419 are from person to person transmissions, 326 have come from community transmissions, 98 people have been hospitalized, 12 people have died, 674 people have recovered, 212 are under investigation and 432 people who work in Agriculture have come down with COVID-19.
