San Miguel man arrested for Felony DUI in Paso Robles

On Friday night, February 21, officers from the Paso Robles Police Department arrested 4 people for DUI. One of the arrests involved felony charges after 44-year-old Michael Lee Jauregui of San Miguel was involved in an accident with a parked vehicle. Unfortunately, his passenger was injured in the collision.
Jauregui showed signs of alcohol intoxication at the scene and a DUI investigation was conducted. Jauregui was arrested and his blood alcohol level was more than double the legal limit. He was booked in the San Luis Obispo County Jail for felony DUI and related charges.
This was the only DUI in the Paso Robles area stemming from a traffic collision on Friday night, February 21. The other 3 DUI arrests resulted from officers conducting traffic stops throughout the evening.
The PRPD is asking people to remain watchful for impaired drivers and to please do not drink and drive! Officers are out in force conducting traffic stops and saturation patrols through a grant from the Office of Traffic Safety to make roads safer.
