PASO ROBLES, CA – As previously reported, on Tuesday, January 14, the Paso Robles Police Department responded to a stabbing that occurred in a trailer, parked in the Woodland Plaza II parking lot. The victim, a 16-year-old male, had been stabbed in the neck and fled to a local business. He was conscious and immediately attended to by EMS. The victim was later transported to a local hospital where he underwent surgery and is in critical but stable condition.
Officers learned of an altercation between the 16-year-old male and the owner of the trailer, 24-year-old Michaela Twyman who knew she was a person of interest in this investigation and purposely hid from law enforcement. Paso Robles PD Detectives began to work the case and search for Michaela Twyman.
On Thursday, January 16, Twyman was located by the Paso Robles Police Department Community Action Team (CAT) while walking on the railroad tracks just south of San Miguel. She was placed under arrest and transported back to Paso Robles so detectives could speak with her. She has since been booked at the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office main jail facility for attempted murder.
