On Monday, January 13 the Soledad Police Department arrested 21-year-old Jeremias Najera Guerrero of Soledad for vandalizing properties located on the 100 block of Main Street, Soledad Street and Kidder Street in Soledad on Tuesday, January 7 with graffiti. The Soledad Public Works Department said that it will cost $3000 to remove and restore those various properties. In addition, Guerrero was also also arrested for vandalizing a fence at the driveway entrance of an apartment complex with graffiti at 438 Benito Street in Soledad on Wednesday, January 8. Guerrero was previously arrested for vandalism graffiti in the same Soledad Downtown area on June 23, 2019. Guerrero admitted to these most recent incidents of vandalism graffiti in Soledad on January 7 & 8 of 2020 and is being held in the Monterey County Jail.
