Residential Burglaries in King City



Two homes were burglarized in King City on Monday, January 6. According to King City Police Sergeant Steven Kennedy, the first break in took place sometime between 10 am and 12 pm off of the 300 block of South Vanderhurst, while the second burglary occurred at a home off of South 3rd Street and Vivian at around 4 pm. Both residences were forcibly broken into and ransacked, but nothing was taken. Law enforcement has no leads at this time as each incident is under investigation.   A 3 vehicle crash ocurred on Highway 101 Southbound near the Front Street exit in Soledad at 4:01 pm on Thursday afternoon, December 7. Minor injuries were reported as a result of the collision.

1 Vehicle Rollover Outside of King City on October 20

  1 vehicle overturned off of County Road 18 and Frudden Road outside of King City at 2:34 pm on Friday afternoon, October 20. 1 occupant received injuries as a result of the crash and ended up being transported to Natividad Medical Center in Salinas to be treated. The cause of the wreck is unknown.
