PASO ROBLES, CA – On Wednesday, October 30 at approximately 1:40 pm, Paso Robles Fire and Emergency Services responded to a commercial business at 820 28th Street for a reported structure fire.
The first unit arrived at scene within approximately three minutes. Upon arrival, smoke was visible from the eves and open storage unit doors. Firefighters located and extinguished a fire in the ceiling of a bathroom without further extension.
Two fire engines and one Battalion Chief from Paso Robles responded. Under the City’s automatic aid agreements, two fire engines and one Battalion Chief from CAL FIRE/SLO County, one fire engine from Templeton Fire, and one ladder truck from Atascadero Fire immediately responded. Additional on scene assistance provided by Paso Robles Police Department and San Luis Ambulance Service.
The fire was contained at approximately 1:59 pm. The fire was caused during a plumbing repair operation.
