Due to Pacific Gas & Electric power outages for fire prevention in Soledad and Gonzales, Hartnell College has cancelled its for-credit classes in those communities the afternoon and evening of Monday, October 28. This cancellation, announced by Dr. Lori Kildal, vice president for academic affairs, specifically affects classes offered at Soledad High School and Gonzales High School.
Hartnell’s classes at Greenfield High School and at the King City Education Center are not affected by the shutoffs at this time. Hartnell will continue to monitor PG&E's Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) activity and provide information about college classes on Tuesday, October 29, and beyond as soon as possible.
