At the the Southern Monterey County Republican Women Federated regular meeting and luncheon on Tuesday, August 6 at Lawrence's Restaurant in King City Dylan Temple, President Elect of the College Republicans at UC Santa Cruz talked about being a College Republican on one of the most liberal school campuses in the United States. Also talking were the 2019 SMCRWF scholarship recipients regarding what their future plans are moving forward. 2019 King City High School graduate Jessica Steele is looking to study Entomology at UC Davis and eventually get her Doctorate, while 2019 King City High School graduate Kayla Ettinger will be majoring in English at UC Irvine in the Fall and performing in the UCI Symphony Orchestra. Steele and Ettinger both received a $1000 scholarship.
