Dumpster fire put out by Greenfield Fire Department



Greenfield Firefighters were able to put out a dumpster fire on the 600 block of Walnut Avenue to the rear of a business or in an alley sometime after 9:30 am on Thursday morning, July 11. Crews extinguished the fire before it spread to surrounding dumpsters. This is one of many fires they’ve responded to that were to the rear of a business or in an alley. Greenfield Police is investigating these fires as arson. Anyone with information is asked to contact Greenfield Police Department CA at 831-674-5111.

1 Vehicle Rollover Outside of King City on October 20

  1 vehicle overturned off of County Road 18 and Frudden Road outside of King City at 2:34 pm on Friday afternoon, October 20. 1 occupant received injuries as a result of the crash and ended up being transported to Natividad Medical Center in Salinas to be treated. The cause of the wreck is unknown.
