King City men arrested for spousal abuse & battery

On Wednesday, June 26 at 2 am officers responded to the 600 block of North Vanderhurst Avenue for a report of a fight in progress between a male and female. The ensuing investigation revealed that the HM 42-year-old male suspect struck his 28-year-old HF girlfriend with a closed fist. The Victim and Suspect were in a verbal argument when the suspect struck the Victim. The victim sustained a minor injury, while the suspect fled the scene upon the officer’s arrival. However, the Suspect was contacted at around 6 am at the residence and was taken into custody without incident. He was transported and booked into the Monterey County Jail charged with spousal abuse and resisting arrest.

On Wednesday, June 26 at around 10:15 am officers responded to a residence on the 100 block of Division Street regarding a verbal argument in progress. Upon the officer’s arrival the ensuing investigation revealed that a 33-year-old HF Victim and a 39-year-old HM suspect were in a verbal argument about domestic issues when the suspect picked up a shoe and struck the victim. The victim had no visible injuries, while the suspect was arrested without incident and booked into the Monterey County Jail charged with spousal battery.

Suspect Vehicle in King City Quadruple Homicide on March 3 Has Been Located

3 Vehicle Accident on Highway 101 in Soledad on December 7

  A 3 vehicle crash ocurred on Highway 101 Southbound near the Front Street exit in Soledad at 4:01 pm on Thursday afternoon, December 7. Minor injuries were reported as a result of the collision. 

1 Vehicle Rollover Outside of King City on October 20

  1 vehicle overturned off of County Road 18 and Frudden Road outside of King City at 2:34 pm on Friday afternoon, October 20. 1 occupant received injuries as a result of the crash and ended up being transported to Natividad Medical Center in Salinas to be treated. The cause of the wreck is unknown.
