Southern Monterey County Republican Women Federated will be sending packages to servicemen and women serving in Afghanistan on Tuesday, June 4. If you would like to participate in this on going project, please drop off items for the troops at the South County Newspapers office located at 522-B Broadway Street in King City, the King City Library which is at 402 Broadway or call (831) 385-1333 to arrange a pick up. Southern Monterey County Republican Women Federated has partnered with Operation Care and Comfort, an all volunteer 501 (c)(3) organization. Additional information regarding a list of desired items for the troop boxes is available at the Rustler office or the Library and donations for postage are greatly appreciated.
