At the Greenfield City Council meeting on Tuesday night, May 28 the Council passed a resolution appropriating $5000 to be added from other private monies and offered as a reward for the successful arrest and conviction of those responsible for the murder of 16-year-old Luis Cuevas Gonzales in Greenfield on January 4, 2018. With the approval of the resolution the reward is now up to $10,000. An Aunt of Cuevas Gonzales thanked the Council for their support and is hoping that people will come forward with more information that will help lead to an arrest. Greenfield Mayor Lance Walker said that they'll do whatever they can to help.
