San Luis Obispo City employee Chris Olcott has been placed on leave after recently being sentenced to assaulting 2 people at Mr.Rick’s in Avila Beach on May 28, 2016. San Luis Obispo City Manager Derek Anderson said on Tuesday, April 16 that Olcott will be placed on leave as the City investigates. Olcott was sentenced to 60 days in the San Luis Obispo County Jail and ordered to take alcohol addiction classes. Olcott will turn himself in on May 20, 2019.
