A 68-year-old Alameda man has been killed in a 1 vehicle rollover crash on Highway 101 north of Wildhorse and south of the King City city limits on Tuesday morning, April 30. According to CHP Officer Mike Rigby, the accident took place sometime after 10:30 am as the the man was driving on US 101 north of Wildhorse Road when for unknown reasons, he made an unsafe turn into the median.
The driver continued to head north in the median, crossing into the northbound lanes of 101 and the vehicle then overturned multiple times before coming to rest on its roof. The driver died at the scene. It does not appear that drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.
