A 1 vehicle accident occurred off of Highway 101 Southbound near a rest area in Bradley sometime after 8 am on Tuesday, January 15. The CHP reports that the driver hit his brakes and went off the road adding that the cause of the accident was an unsafe turning movement that the driver made due to his intoxication level. The driver was arrested for Driving Under the Influence and the slow lane on Highway 101 South in that area was closed for 15 minutes in order to get the vehicle extracted from the side of the road. No one was injured. There was also a 2 vehicle collision that took place off of Highway 101 Northbound and Jolon Road in King City on Tuesday, January 15 just before 11 am and a 1 vehicle accident that took place off of Highway 101 Northbound and SR 198 sometime after 11:30 am on Tuesday, January 15. No injuries were reported from both accidents and no other details have been released.
