Structure fire in Greenfield

On Thursday, January 3 at about 12:50 am, Greenfield Police Officers along with the Greenfield Fire Department and CAL FIRE responded to the 300 block of 7th Street for a house fire that sparked. Upon arrival of the Greenfield fire personnel, a small single-story residential structure was found fully engulfed in flames. The blaze was extinguished and contained to the structure of origin. The house was not occupied and was undergoing a major remodel at the time of the fire. No one was injured. Greenfield Police later conducted checks of abandoned homes throughout the City.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. If anyone has any information about this fire, please call the Greenfield Fire Department 831-320-2299.

1 Vehicle Rollover Outside of King City on October 20

  1 vehicle overturned off of County Road 18 and Frudden Road outside of King City at 2:34 pm on Friday afternoon, October 20. 1 occupant received injuries as a result of the crash and ended up being transported to Natividad Medical Center in Salinas to be treated. The cause of the wreck is unknown.
