At the Greenfield City Council meeting on Tuesday night, January 8 the Council agreed to appoint Bob White for a vacant Council seat that became open after Lance Walker was elected as Mayor in November of 2018. Plus, the Council agreed to move forward on a modified farmworker housing project submitted by Avila Construction that will consist of 112 residential units off of Walnut Avenue and 3rd Street. In other business, Greenfield Mayor Pro Tem Nely Martinez was recently appointed to serve on the League of California Cities’ Housing, Community and Economic Development Policy Committee.
