Man arrested in Paso Robles for Auto Theft and Burglary

PASO ROBLES, CA – On Friday, August 24, 2018 officers from the San Luis Obispo County Auto Theft Task Force (SLOCATT) arrested 18-year-old Ricardo Ramirez after he was stopped for driving a stolen Lincoln MKZ taken from Paso Robles. Located in the vehicle was a stolen handgun from a residential burglary also within the City of Paso Robles. SLOCATT along with detectives from the Paso Robles Police Department served a search warrant at Ramirez’s residence and additional items of evidence were found. Ramirez was linked to 2 additional auto thefts, and multiple burglary/thefts cases within the City of Paso Robles. Ramirez was transported and booked at the San Luis Obispo County Jail for 3 counts of felony auto theft and 3 counts of felony burglary.

3 Vehicle Accident on Highway 101 in Soledad on December 7

  A 3 vehicle crash ocurred on Highway 101 Southbound near the Front Street exit in Soledad at 4:01 pm on Thursday afternoon, December 7. Minor injuries were reported as a result of the collision. 

1 Vehicle Rollover Outside of King City on October 20

  1 vehicle overturned off of County Road 18 and Frudden Road outside of King City at 2:34 pm on Friday afternoon, October 20. 1 occupant received injuries as a result of the crash and ended up being transported to Natividad Medical Center in Salinas to be treated. The cause of the wreck is unknown.
