Driver crushed to death between truck at Taylor Farms

A fatal accident took place at Taylor Farms in Salinas on Tuesday afternoon, August 21 at around 2:30pm. The Salinas Police Department reports that a 58-year-old man parked a big rig at a loading dock area to be loaded, then exited the truck. The trailer was parked too far away from the dock to be loaded and employees began looking for the driver, but could not find him. Another truck driver moved the truck so that the trailer could be loaded. When the truck was backed up to the dock, the 58 year-old truck driver was crushed between the trailer and the loading dock. It's unknown why the driver was behind the trailer. The driver was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The details of this case are still being investigated by the Salinas Police Department and Cal OSHA.

3 Vehicle Accident on Highway 101 in Soledad on December 7

  A 3 vehicle crash ocurred on Highway 101 Southbound near the Front Street exit in Soledad at 4:01 pm on Thursday afternoon, December 7. Minor injuries were reported as a result of the collision. 

1 Vehicle Rollover Outside of King City on October 20

  1 vehicle overturned off of County Road 18 and Frudden Road outside of King City at 2:34 pm on Friday afternoon, October 20. 1 occupant received injuries as a result of the crash and ended up being transported to Natividad Medical Center in Salinas to be treated. The cause of the wreck is unknown.
