During
an unrelated investigation, Investigators from the Major Crimes Unit discovered
that 19-year-old Jorge Flores of King City, a known southern Gang member, was alleged to have been in a long term sexual relationship with a minor.
On
Thursday, May 31, Investigators contacted Flores outside his residence on the
200 block of Sussex Way in King City. The female victim who was missing from
her residence as reported by her parents was located at Flores’ residence.
Flores was interviewed and arrested for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a
minor. The female victim was released to her parents.
Flores
was booked into the Monterey County Jail and was charged with unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bail was set at $2,000,000.00.
No
other information is being released at this time, as the investigation is
