King City man jailed for allegedly having sex with a minor




During an unrelated investigation, Investigators from the Major Crimes Unit discovered that 19-year-old Jorge Flores of King City, a known southern Gang member, was alleged to have been in a long term sexual relationship with a minor.
On Thursday, May 31, Investigators contacted Flores outside his residence on the 200 block of Sussex Way in King City. The female victim who was missing from her residence as reported by her parents was located at Flores’ residence. Flores was interviewed and arrested for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a minor. The female victim was released to her parents.
Flores was booked into the Monterey County Jail and was charged with unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Bail was set at $2,000,000.00.
No other information is being released at this time, as the investigation is continuing. Anyone with further information in regards to this case is encouraged to contact Det. 3 Vehicle Accident on Highway 101 in Soledad on December 7

  A 3 vehicle crash ocurred on Highway 101 Southbound near the Front Street exit in Soledad at 4:01 pm on Thursday afternoon, December 7. Minor injuries were reported as a result of the collision. 

1 Vehicle Rollover Outside of King City on October 20

  1 vehicle overturned off of County Road 18 and Frudden Road outside of King City at 2:34 pm on Friday afternoon, October 20. 1 occupant received injuries as a result of the crash and ended up being transported to Natividad Medical Center in Salinas to be treated. The cause of the wreck is unknown.
