SOLEDAD,
Calif. - A stolen dog was found severely burned outside of Soledad on
Tuesday, March 27 at around 9:30 am.
A Soledad Police Officer came across the burned black and white
American pit bull on Metz Road.
According to the SPCA for Monterey County, the dog was transported
to a veterinary hospital in the area and was euthanized for humane reasons.
The SPCA’s Humane Investigation Unit is handling the case and is
offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction
of the person or persons responsible.
