Fort Hunter Liggett and the 7th Infantry Division hosted a Bayonet Focus Exercise Media Day on Monday, February 12. The day began with a ceremony that involved changing the name of the post chapel to the Lightfighters Chapel in honor of the 7th Infantry Division. After the ceremony members of the media observed soldier engagement in training areas with tanks, helicopters and other vehicles. The 7th Infantry Division has been training at Fort Hunter Liggett for over a week and will be relocating very soon to do more work at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, California. This the 1st time soldiers from the 7th Infantry Division have been training at Fort Hunter Liggett since 1994.
