Ice Cube with Warren G to Perform at the CA Mid-State Fair on July 16!

 

The California Mid-State Fair is excited to announce that legendary hip-hop icon Ice Cube, joined by special guest Warren G, will perform on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at 7:30 PM at the Chumash Grandstand Arena as part of the Michelob Ultra Concert Series.




Tickets for this show will go on sale Friday, May 22 at 10:00 AM at MidStateFair.com.


Tickets are $50, $60, $70, $90, and $100 (pit). Fair admission is sold separately.




A pioneering force in hip-hop and entertainment, Ice Cube's career spans decades of cultural influence - from his groundbreaking work with N.W.A. to a solo career that has sold tens of millions of albums worldwide. Joining him is West Coast rap legend Warren G, whose smooth G-funk sound helped define a generation.






ABOUT ICE CUBE


Ice Cube is a pioneering rapper, actor, and producer who rose to fame with N.W.A. before building a multi-platinum solo career. He has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. His film career includes Friday, Barbershop, and Ride Along, with total box office earnings exceeding $1 billion. He also co-founded the BIG3 basketball league and continues to influence music, film, and sports. His latest album, Man Down, debuted in the Top 10 on multiple Billboard charts.

Warren G is an iconic rapper and producer who helped define the West Coast G-funk sound. He rose to prominence with the multi-platinum hit “Regulate” featuring Nate Dogg and has sold millions of records worldwide. His work includes contributions to Dr. Dre’s The Chronic and Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle. Warren G continues to tour and collaborate while working on G-Funk Chronicles Vol. 1, expected in 2026.




The CA Mid-State Fair takes place July 15–26, 2026 and this year's theme is Back to the ‘80s.

  A fatal multi-vehicle collision happened on Saturday night, January 10 at 9:51 p.m. on northbound Highway 101 outside of King City. King City City Council Announces Selection of José Arreola as New City Manager

  January 7, 2025-Following an extensive recruitment process, José Arreola has been selected by the King City City Council to be its next City Manager. Arreola will replace Steve Adams, who is retiring after serving in the position for the past 10 years. Arreola was selected from 31 applicants and 8 finalists for the position. The King City City Council will formally consider the proposed city manager contract at its meeting on Tuesday night, January 13. King City CHP is searching for person of interest who fled the scene of a fatal crash in Greenfield

On Monday, September 16 at approximately 3:50 pm, a fatal traffic collision occurred on Metz Road south of Elm Avenue in Greenfield.  The driver who caused the collision fled on foot and is currently outstanding.  The California Highway Patrol King City Area is currently seeking the whereabouts of 31-year-old Agustin Santana-Moncada of King City who has been identified as a person of interest in the case.  The King City Area is requesting assistance from the public in locating Santana-Moncada.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the King City Area office at (831) 385-3216.
