CA Mid-State Fair Announces 2026 Frontier Stage Entertainment Lineup

 

The California Mid-State Fair is excited to announce the 2026 Frontier Stage entertainment lineup, featuring 12 nights of free concerts and entertainment included with paid Fair admission. Performances begin at 8:00 PM on the Frontier Stage during the Fair’s run July 15–26, 2026.



The 2026 lineup offers a diverse mix of classic rock, country, Latin music, pop, tribute acts, and rising stars sure to entertain Fairgoers of all ages.



The 2026 Frontier Stage lineup includes:



Wednesday, July 15 – Miss CA Mid-State Fair Scholarship Pageant (6:00 PM)


The annual opening night Pageant tradition kicks off the Fair with local pride, celebration, and community spirit.



Thursday, July 16 – High Voltage


High Voltage delivers a high-energy tribute to AC/DC with authentic sound, electrifying guitar riffs, and powerhouse vocals.



Friday, July 17 – Micky Dolenz


Best known as the lead vocalist and drummer of The Monkees, Micky Dolenz continues to delight audiences with timeless pop-rock classics and decades of entertainment history.



Saturday, July 18 – Sacha Carlson


Actor and musician Sacha Carlson blends rock and roll and alternative influences into an energetic performance showcasing his emerging artistry.



Sunday, July 19 – Noel Torres


Regional Mexican star Noel Torres is known for his emotional ballads and norteño-style hits that have earned him a devoted fanbase across the genre.



Monday, July 20 – John Hollier & The Reverie


Nashville-based artist John Hollier blends folk rock, southern soul, and his French-Cajun roots into a powerful live performance shaped by heartfelt storytelling and Americana influences.



Tuesday, July 21 – Stephen Styles


Central Coast favorite Stephen Styles brings heartfelt vocals and contemporary country influences to the Frontier Stage.



Wednesday, July 22 – Shenandoah


Grammy-winning country group Shenandoah has been one of country music’s most beloved bands with chart-topping hits and signature harmonies spanning decades.



Thursday, July 23 – Something Out West


Country duo Something Out West combines modern country storytelling with coastal California influences and rising Nashville appeal.



Friday, July 24 – LOCASH


Country music duo LOCASH is known for upbeat anthems and platinum-selling hits including “I Love This Life” and “One Big Country Song.”



Saturday, July 25 – Queensrÿche


Legendary progressive metal band Queensrÿche brings decades of hard rock hits and acclaimed musicianship to the Fair stage.



Sunday, July 26 – Coronel “El Jerry” Gerardo


Coronel Gerardo, known as “El Jerry”, delivers energetic regional Mexican performances blending banda, corridos, and contemporary Latin sounds.



Frontier Stage concerts are free with paid Fair admission. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  A fatal multi-vehicle collision happened on Saturday night, January 10 at 9:51 p.m. on northbound Highway 101 outside of King City. According to the King City CHP a 2016 Toyota Tacoma driven by 65-year-old Paul Lee Cooper of Otis, Oregon was heading the wrong way going southbound in the northbound lanes south of Jolon Road, while a 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by 33-year-old Dinora Maribel Gomez of Salinas was heading northbound on Highway 101 south of Jolon Road in the #1 lane and a Honda Accord driven by 36-year-old Ignacio Sangerman of King City was also traveling northbound on Highway 101 south of Jolon Road but was in the #2 lane. King City City Council Announces Selection of José Arreola as New City Manager

  January 7, 2025-Following an extensive recruitment process, José Arreola has been selected by the King City City Council to be its next City Manager. Arreola will replace Steve Adams, who is retiring after serving in the position for the past 10 years. Arreola was selected from 31 applicants and 8 finalists for the position. The King City City Council will formally consider the proposed city manager contract at its meeting on Tuesday night, January 13. Arreola's first day on the job is scheduled to be February 23.    José Arreola has a distinguished career of serving the community with a particular commitment to youth. He has worked for the City of Salinas for 12 years as their Community Safety Program Manager, Community Safety Administrator and Assistant to the City Manager. King City CHP is searching for person of interest who fled the scene of a fatal crash in Greenfield

On Monday, September 16 at approximately 3:50 pm, a fatal traffic collision occurred on Metz Road south of Elm Avenue in Greenfield.  The driver who caused the collision fled on foot and is currently outstanding.  The California Highway Patrol King City Area is currently seeking the whereabouts of 31-year-old Agustin Santana-Moncada of King City who has been identified as a person of interest in the case.  The King City Area is requesting assistance from the public in locating Santana-Moncada.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the King City Area office at (831) 385-3216.
