Salinas, CA – The candidate filing period for elective offices in the June 2, 2026, Statewide Direct Primary Election closes Friday, March 6, 2026. Candidate forms must be completed and submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2026.
Official nomination documents are available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the filing period at the Monterey County Elections Department located at 1441 Schilling Place – North Building, Salinas, CA.
