Frontier Stage Entertainment Lineup Announced for the 2025 California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles!

 

(PASO ROBLES, CA) – The California Mid-State Fair is pleased to announce the following performers for the

805 Beer Frontier Stage, presented by Casey Printing. All shows start at 8:00 PM and are free with your

paid admission to the Fair.

7/16/25 – Miss CMSF Scholarship Pageant (6:00 PM) sponsored by Cattaneo Brothers and Boot Barn: Celebrating

the spirit, intelligence, and community pride of San Luis Obispo County, the annual Miss California Mid-State Fair

Scholarship Pageant is a local institution for good reason. Each contestant will share their personal/Fair platform,

participate in interviews, evening wear, and talent segments. Scholarships are awarded, and the winner will

represent the Fair throughout the year.

7/17/25 - Stephen Pearcy: Stephen Pearcy, founder, lead singer, and songwriter of the multi-platinum rock band

RATT, is a pioneering force of the 1980s Sunset Strip metal scene whose four-decade career—including iconic hits

like "Round and Round," "Lay It Down," "Back for More," and "Wanted Man."

7/18/25 – Herman’s Hermits Starring Peter Noone: Peter Noone, the iconic voice of Herman’s Hermits, has been

charming audiences worldwide for decades with his timeless hits and charismatic stage presence. Rising to fame

at just 15 as “Herman,” Noone led the band to international success with classics like “I’m Into Something Good,”

“Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter,” “I’m Henry VIII, I Am,” “Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat,” and “There’s

a Kind of Hush.”

7/19/25 – Mariachi Los Camperos: Mariachi Los Camperos, founded by Nati Cano in 1961, is a Grammy-winning

ensemble that brought mariachi music to global stages like Carnegie Hall. Known for collaborations with Linda

Ronstadt and appearances in major films, they’ve become cultural ambassadors for traditional Mexican music.

Led by Jesús “Chuy” Guzmán, they continue a 60-year legacy with multiple Grammy-winning albums.

7/20/25 – Mason Ramsey: Mason Ramsey, the youngest major label country artist in nearly 20 years, rose to

fame after a viral Walmart performance. He’s since earned over 450 million streams, a Gold single, and played

major festivals like Coachella. With three EPs, two headlining tours, and a hit single “Blue Over You,” he blends

classic country with heartfelt, coming-of-age themes. Mason just wrapped up his Monster outbreak tour.

7/21/25 – Waylon Wyatt: 18-year-old folk/country artist Waylon Wyatt, hailing from Hackett, Arkansas, has

quickly made a name for himself with his debut EP Til The Sun Goes Down, earning over 100 million streams.

Influenced by Tyler Childers and Zach Bryan, Wyatt is currently recording his next project while touring with artists

like Dwight Yoakam, Dylan Gossett, and Sam Barber.

7/22/25 – Jordan Feliz: Jordan Feliz has become one of Contemporary Christian Music’s most dynamic voices,

breaking out with his Gold-certified hit “The River,” which spent 10 weeks at #1 on Billboard’s NCA Chart. A Dove

Award winner for New Artist of the Year, Feliz has released chart-topping albums like FUTURE, toured with artists

like for KING & COUNTRY and TobyMac, and continues to inspire audiences with his soulful pop sound and

heartfelt lyrics.

7/23/25 – Docksiders: The Docksiders are a Las Vegas-based Yacht Rock tribute band led by 3-time Grammy

nominee Kevin Sucher. Originally from Milwaukee, they perform soft rock hits from the ’70s and ’80s by artists

like Hall & Oates and Michael McDonald, combining nostalgic music with costume changes and vibrant visuals.

Known as "America’s Favorite Yacht Rock Band," they’ve entertained hundreds of thousands nationwide.

7/24/25 – Black Violin: Black Violin, formed by Kev Marcus and Wil Baptiste, blends classical strings with hip-hop

beats to challenge stereotypes and unite audiences. They rose to fame after winning Showtime at the Apollo in

2005 and have since sold out venues like The Kennedy Center. With two Grammy nominations and around 200

shows a year—many for underserved youth—they promote music education through their nonprofit, the Black

Violin Foundation.

7/25/25– Taylor Shines Laser Spectacular: Taylor Shines is an immersive experience that celebrates the illustrious

music career of Taylor Swift. This family-friendly event, designed exclusively for Swifties of all ages, promises an

evening like no other. The show features an epic laser display, large-screen video projection, and a live

performance by the talented Jexxa.

7/26/25 – Kylie Morgan: Kylie Morgan is a rising country artist known for her honest lyrics and powerful live

performances. Touring since age 14, she’s played major venues like the Grand Ole Opry and CMA Fest, and

recently toured with Old Dominion. Her hit “If He Wanted To He Would” broke into country radio’s Top 40,

leading to her debut album "Making It Up As I Go", which has earned over 400 million streams.

7/27/25 – Regulo Caro: Born in Los Angeles and raised in Ciudad Obregón, Sonora, this artist blends diverse

influences—from Sinaloa’s country music to various forms of rock. A constant musical explorer, they avoid strict

genre labels, choosing instead to simply share their passion for music.

All shows are free with paid Fair Admission. The California Mid-State Fair takes place July 16–27, 2025. Gates open

Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to midnight, and Friday through Sunday from noon to midnight.

SLO County residents can take advantage of discounted Season Passes and daily admission tickets, available

online until midnight on July 15, 2025 and at Farm Supply in June. Discounted carnival wristbands are available

through these local nonprofit organizations. Look for a special ValPak coupon in mailboxes in July offering two

corndogs, two lemonades, and admission for two (a $24 savings). Plus, an additional coupon—good for a Philly

cheesesteak, cheese curds, and two soft drinks – will be up on the Fair website in July.

Attempted Homicide Shooting Incident in King City on September 29

  The King City Police Department received a report of gunshots heard in the area of the 600 block of Sycamore Street at around 1 am on Sunday, September 29. While enroute, the King City PD was advised that 2 victims were transported to Mee Memorial Hospital by private vehicle to be treated for gunshot wounds.   Upon arrival, officers were told that a single unknown suspect opened the gate to a fenced yard and fired 10 rounds into a crowd attending a party. 2 individuals were struck by the gunfire, after-which the suspect fled on foot.  The suspect was described as wearing a dark colored hoodie and pants. The 2 victims are a 16-year-old juvenile male who was shot 3 times and an 18-year-old male who was shot 1 time.  Both victims were transported to Natividad Hospital from Mee Memorial and are currently listed in stable condition. 3 Vehicle Wreck on Highway 101 Outside of King City on December 26

  A 3 vehicle accident happened on Highway 101 Northbound near the Central Avenue exit outside of King City at 12:07 pm on Thursday afternoon, December 26. One of the vehicles overturned as a result of the crash. Minor injuries were reported from the collision.
