Road and Lane Closures on Highway 101 & State Route 146 in South Monterey County for the Week of July 9

 

MONTEREY COUNTY – Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday, July 9 through Saturday, July 15. 

Highway 101: Main Street/Chualar-Grant Street/Main Street: July 10 – July 14

One lane closure and one-way traffic controls will be in place along eastbound and westbound Main Street/Chualar Street and at the southbound off ramp to Main Street from Highway 101 for work on the bridge from 9 pm to 6 am.

Highway 101: Canal Street: July 10 – July 14

One-way reversing traffic controls will occur along eastbound and westbound Canal Street in King City for landscaping work from 8:30 am to 4 pm.

Highway 101: Wild Horse Road - Jolon Road:  July 10 – July 14

There will be full closure of the on and off ramps of northbound and southbound Highway 101 between Wild Horse Road and Jolon Road for pavement work from 7 am to 7 pm.

Highway 101: Jolon Road – First Street: July 10 – July 14

Alternating Lane closures will occur along northbound and southbound Highway 101 between First Street and Jolon Road for miscellaneous work from 6 am 4 pm.

Highway 101: State Route 146: July 11 – July 13

There will be full closure of the on and off ramps of southbound Highway 101 at State Route 146 for work on the bridge from 8 pm to 6 am.

Highway 101:  Camp Roberts Rest Areas: Long-Term

There will be full closure of the Camp Roberts Rest Areas on northbound and southbound Highway 101 for work to upgrade the facility from 10 am to 12 pm.

State Route 146: Highway 101 – Front Street: July 9 – July 14

One-way traffic controls will be in place along eastbound and westbound State Route 146 between Highway 101 and Front Street for work on the bridge from 8 pm to 6 am. CHP will be performing traffic breaks through the work zone July 10 – July 11.
