MONTEREY COUNTY – Here are the major scheduled road and lane closures for Monterey County from Sunday, January 15 through Saturday, January 21.
Highway 101: Central Avenue: January 18
The right shoulder and one lane closure will occur along southbound Highway 101 at Central Avenue for utility potholing work from 9 am to 4 pm.
Highway 101 Soledad Overhead: Long-Term
There will one long-term lane closure along northbound Highway 101 at the Soledad Overhead for bridge work.
Highway 101: First Street (Southbound): January 17 – January 19
There will be full closure of the off ramp of southbound Highway 101 at First Street for grinding work from 8 am to 4 pm.
Highway 101: Canal Street: January 17 – January 19
There will be full closure of the on and off ramps of southbound Highway 101 at Canal Street for grinding operation work from 8 am to 4 pm.
Highway 101: Broadway (Southbound): January 17 –January 19
There will be full closure of the on and off ramps of southbound Highway 101 at Broadway for grinding operation work from 8 am to 4 pm.
Highway 101: Jolon Road (Southbound): January 17 – January 19
There will be full closure of the on and off ramps of southbound Highway 101 at Jolon Road for grinding operations work from 8 am to 4 pm.
Highway 101: First Street – Jolon Road, King City: Long-Term
There will be one lane closure along northbound and southbound Highway 101 from First Street to Jolon Road for roadway excavation and pavement work from 8 am to 4 pm. Motorists can expect delays of up to 10 minutes.
Highway 101: Front Street: Long-Term
One lane closure will occur along Front Street at Highway 101 for bridge work from 7 am to 12 am.
Highway 101: Camp Roberts Rest Areas: Long-Term
There will be full closure of the Camp Roberts Rest Areas on northbound and southbound Highway 101 for work to upgrade the facility from 10 am to 12 pm.
Please keep in mind that construction work is weather-dependent.
