A blown transformer took place off of North Third and King Street which caused a power outage affecting thousands of residents in King City sometime between 9 pm and 10 pm on Friday night, August 27. The power outages started from North of King Street between Metz and Mildred. PG&E work crews were on the scene and restored electricity to all of the affected residents by 11:20 pm.
