Over 40 people were in attendance for the unveiling of a new mural displaying the history of cattle ranching and the Salinas Valley Fair off of 1011 Broadway Street in King City on Thursday, June 24. The project was made possible by a total of 90 past and present cattle ranching families in the area who had their names painted on the mural, while a non-profit organization and local area businesses also contributed. Lead Artist Jennifer Hargrove-Beebe and several other area residents put in over 100 hours in completing this project. All of the muralists are King City High School graduates.
