SALINAS, CA, May 20, 2020 – The Big Week Kick Off Concert featuring Superstar Toby Keith that had been rescheduled for July 9, 2021 has been postponed to July 15, 2022. The guidelines for hosting outdoor events in California this summer are still unknown and Keith has agreed to move the performance to 2022. Opening act(s) will be announced at a later date. The concert is presented by Taylor Farms and produced by the California Rodeo Salinas and David Drew Productions. ‘We know it’s been a frustrating year and we are all looking forward to the return of our annual concert, but we need to wait another year to enjoy Toby Keith’s performance,’ said David Drew of David Drew Productions, ‘We really appreciate the ongoing support of our Kick Off Concert Sponsors and our community.’
Ticket holders can use their July 2020 concert tickets for the July 2022 concert. Refunds will be offered until June 3rd. The familiar maxim of the triple threat – singer, songwriter, musician – doesn't begin to cover it for Toby Keith, one of the modern era's most complete self-directed hit makers.
