Updated numbers from the Monterey County Health Department on Tuesday, October 20 report that confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the County are now at 11,158 people, while 103,319 people have been tested in the County. 3,416 of the cases are out of South Monterey County which include 828 in King City, 985 in Greenfield, 1,114 in Soledad, 334 in Gonzales, 50 in San Ardo, 76 in Chualar, 17 in San Lucas while 12 cases are from other cities or towns in South Monterey County. In addition, 4,350 are from person to person transmissions, 3,596 have come from community transmissions, 651 people have been hospitalized, 84 people have died, 8,514 people have recovered, 1,768 are under investigation and 2,625 people who work in Agriculture have come down with COVID-19.
