A listening session hosted by District 3 Monterey County Supervisor Chris Lopez at Gonzales City Hall on Friday night, August 23 drew in a small number of people, but quite a few issues were addressed over an hour and a half. Questions were asked about what the latest news is about trying to get funding for new courthouse built in Greenfield, whether there was any chance that a Mental Health Clinic can be put into South Monterey County and there also questions addressed about affordable housing. The next listening session that Supervisor Lopez plans to host will be with the Monterey County Sheriff's Department at the Salinas Valley Fairgrounds in King City on a date that has not yet been announced.
