A restraining order has been put on 57-year-old Peter Wells of Carmel who was discovered on Wednesday, October 24 as the man who left a threatening and hateful voicemail message to Monterey County Supervisors Luis Alejo and Simon Salinas that they listened to on Monday morning, October 22. The Sheriff's Department has decided not to pursue charges against Wells, but a civil investigation has been ordered by a Superior Court judge against Wells.
